  • Editor skills, experience and work samples
  • Transaction and payment-reference information
  • Support requests, disputes and communications
  • Device, usage and technical information

Connect2Edit does not intend to directly store complete card, banking or payment credentials when payments are processed by an authorized external payment service provider.

2. How information may be used

Information may be used to:

  • Create and manage customer and editor accounts
  • Enable project requests and editor connections
  • Support preview, approval and delivery workflows
  • Facilitate platform payments and transaction records
  • Provide customer service and resolve disputes
  • Prevent misuse, fraud and security incidents
  • Improve platform performance and user experience
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. How information may be shared

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the platform, complete requested services, process payments, provide technical infrastructure, prevent misuse or comply with lawful requirements.

Relevant project information may be shared between the customer and selected video editor to enable them to complete the project. Connect2Edit does not intend to sell personal information as a standalone commercial product.

4. Data storage and security

Connect2Edit intends to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and immediately reporting suspected unauthorized account activity.

5. User choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and platform requirements, users may request access to, correction of or deletion of eligible personal information associated with their account.

Certain information may need to be retained for transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance or other legitimate operational purposes.

6. Children's privacy

The final minimum-age requirement for using Connect2Edit will be confirmed before launch. The platform is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

7. Changes to this policy
